The Music of Burzum and the
Writings of Varg Vikernes

Filosofem Magazine

The Filosofem magazine was first published in late 1994 after Varg's sentencing. During the next year or so 7 further issues appeared, all dealing with Pagan themes and various esoteric topics. Varg writes extensively in most of the issues. The magazine is currently back on sale.

Extracts

Once again, Norway's Judeo-judicial structure made the wrong move: A move that will only hasten their inevitable downfall.

For what supposedly was a preventive and soornful sentencing is in fact merely seen as a long-due compliment as far as we are concerned.

Like their giving me twenty-one years to serve for my killing a "Communist" and my being charged with burning Jehova's shelters with no corroborating evidence, simply lays their complex of inferiority bare, as well as it lays their inability to cope with the situation bare.

For they quite clearly stand helpless when such a sentencing hardly discourages us; when such a punishing actually encourages us to see to it that what we have started is completed.

What is wrong with those people there? I do not understand.

How can they not realise that there is actually that little they can do to stop us?

That despicable altruistic reasoning of theirs is at its worst and the only reason they will not put us to death is because of that god-damned feebleness of theirs!

So what have they done so far? I will tell you what they have done.

They have given us mass-media coverage for months. The extensive exposure, as questionable as it may have been (and as questionable as it was in fact) still caught people's interest about who we were and people's interest about what we are doing; most of those to join us; something we would not have done on our own. That is exactly what they have done!

Draupnir is the "Golden Ring of Odhinn." Every <<ninth night>>, eight new golden rings of like kind drip from Draupnir (eight is the number of letters in "Eternity" in English; in "Ewigkeit" in German).

The "Golden Ring of Odhinn" holds eight houses; or "Rings." It takes nine months, not nine nights, but nine months (to allude to the pregnancy process) for women to give birth to eight golden rings of like kind: to grow up; like his fathers and forefathers grew up. In this instance, the "Golden Rings of Odhinn" be eternal: for newer golden rings (or posterity) drip before the older golden rings (or ancestry) die.

Dwarves and ålfar crafted and offered Draupnir to Odhinn (dwellers of the earth element) : and Draupnir therefore ought to represent the eternal Arian/Indo-European race : dwellers of Midwinter?

As one Heathen Teutonic Wodanist, would I have to worship Allfader Odhinn at all?

It ought to be obvious; yet the way i do believe in and worship Allfader Odhinn is not all that, obvious. For as far as I am concerned, Aesir are but representations of all which matters; deities and idols to identify with, images and symbols to be exalted by, fathers and forefathers to honour and to be proud of.

But the fact is that i do not have to believe in or worship Allfader Odhinn in any other ways than I do believe in and do worship myself. I am his flesh and blood, his soul and spirit; for I am of his posterity and the archetypes in our race are his.

Wherever Odhinn goes, both his ravens Huginn and Muninn, and both his wolves, Geri and Freki, unavoidably follow him.

Odhinn hardly eats: Geri And Freki Are given Odhinn's food; and Odhinn hardly drinks (but the "Water of the Wise"). And Geri and Freki watch over Odhinn and protect him; and Geri and Freki watch over Odhinn and protect him. This describes the human machine...

Huginn and Muninn represent the "Spiritual Consciousness."

Geri and Freki represent the "Automatic Consciousness" and the "Human Consciousness" respectively.

And Allfader Odhinn represents the "Divine Consciousness" .

Or in an other word: "God".

Although honour is usually gained from what one accomplishes; acting for the sake of acting is incongruous with our Weltenanschau.

And honour is ultimately and eventually gained from one's motivations to act – and not from the act per se.

Blodvagr; different word that express the same imperative; the imperative of the coming imperium.

We therefore and adamantly demand them that do not understand that imperative not to involve themselves in any cymophane campaign (to possibly join us when they do understand that imperative) but certainly not until they finally do.

Some cardinal goals for one Heathen Teutonic Wodanist can be summed up in the following few sentences

To endeavour for personal magnanimity...To abstain from detrimental and stupefying fruition... To partake in tedious, enduring and (as often as not) perilous duties – and with peremptory obedience.

Or to put it in another way – to follow the Blodvagr. One's rewards walking the "Pathway to Divine Consciousness" are therefore as obvious.

A high esteem of, confidence in, and respect of self...And a spiritual rejuvenation opening the mind to ever higher levels of consciousness.

Such are prime prerequisites... Heeded and honoured be thou.

In the beginning; there was a mighty void: Ginnungagap ["Gap with Magikal Powers" -ED]; on the one side of which there was but fog and but frost, Nifelhedar ["Fog-Home" -ED]; and on the other side of which there was nothing but frothing flames, Muspellheimar ["Fire-Home"-ED]; in which begun life with the mixing of fire with ice; out of which came a huge giant, a Joronn, who was born of frost and who was awoken to life by fire, whose name was Ymir (or Aurgelmir; yet another name for the same).

Drops formed where ice melted, as did a huge cow, Audhumla, milk pouring down its dugs, milk which Ymir fed from. Audhumla licked rocks for salt, out one of which emerged a big and beautiful man, Boni.

And Ymir had children with himself while he was leeping: a man and a woman of his grew out of his left armpit; and he had a son with six heads growing out of his feet (fathering the first lineage of Jotnar and Trollkonur). They had children in turn, and Boni, fathered Odhinn together with Basila, the Joronn daughter of Bolthorn. Allfader Odin was born.

Ymir was lazy, and spent time drinking milk and sleeping, with more numerous and frightening Jotnar and Trollkonur oozing from his big body at all times. Odhinn, together with his brothers Honir And Lodnur, whom are also known as Vile and Ve, see the threat Jotnar and Trollkonur represent and decide to fight against Ymir and his kind.

Stalking up to the sleeping giant, Odhinn, Honir and Lodnura attacked him and after a long fight they killed Ymir, a flow of blood washing over everything and evryone. The enemies of Esir drowned and dissapeared in the chasm of Ginnungagap. And only two Jotnar, Bsachklmir (the son of Throdgelmir; himself the son of Aurgelmir) and his bride managed to escape on a flying broom into Nifelheimar (who were to survive and who were to father the second lineage of Jotna and Trollkonur).

Esir placed Ymir's body in Ginnugagap. Using it as a bridge – the Bifrost bridge – over the chasm, creating the macrocosmos (the nine worlds of Yggdrasil) from the body; blood becoming sea, flesh becoming soil, knuckles becoming mountains, hair becoming trees and grass, brains becoming clouds and the inside of the skull the firmament.

Ålfar crept from the body, four of whom hold up the firmament: Austri ["Eastern"], Vestri ["Western"], Nordkri ["Northern"], and Sodenkri ["Southern"], starts actually sparks from the Muspellheimar.

Once, Odhinn and his brothers Honir and Lodnura, were walking along the beach, when they stumbled upon two chunks of wood which they saw were more or less looking like they themselves were.

And they started playing around with those chunks of wood.

And then Odhinn gave them life...And than Honir gave them intellect and motion...And then Lodnura gave them speech and senses (touch, sight, hearing, smell, and taste and that is)...

Esir: Odhinn, Honir and Lodnura named the first man Aska, and they named the first woman Emela.

But the point in studying various such Mythos – besides the sake of thereof – is that we can clearly see some obvious parallels with other Mythos, as clearly we can with sciences too.

In Judeo Mythos, Noah survives the sin-flood in a ship for instance.

In Greeco Mythos, Denalion survives in a boc for another instance.

In Norse Mythos, Jotna and Trollkinor survive the blood-flow from a broom.

We also have Odhinn and his brothers, Honir and Lodnura, making up a trinity. Other trinities incluse mercury, sulphur, and salt in alchemy; or proton, neutron, and electron in physics; or the "Son", the "Father", and the "Holy Ghost" in Judeo-Christianity (and the "Anti-Christ," the "Devil," and the "False Prophet").

Other examples are the male, the female, and the neuter genders; or the pillars of severity, mildness, and mercy; among many an other.

Yet, the Norse trinity is a creative force, very much like the alchemich trinity (Al-Knemi being translated into "Father of the dark Land").

Odhinn is, in that instance, mercury's equivalent, Honir and Lodnura salt's and sulphur's.

But neither is the principle of sulphur common sulphur (or brimstone), nor is salt common tablesalt (or sodiumchloride); as mercury is certainly not mercury as mercury can be found in thermometers (or quicksilver).

There exists an analogue between them, but certainly not a one-to-one analogue.

And Allfader Odhinn represents the Quinth Easmetis ( the fifth element: the spirit); the "Water of the Wise;" the other four elements obviously being fire/ air; earth/water.

We will begin to give a description of the prototypical Jew; a description of its borrowed symbology – as a raw reflection of its archetypes.

Plainly and sinply, there is no avoiding reaffirming the Jew to be definitely lacking the ability to develop beyond that archaic and erroneous interpretation of the eternal to which it devotes itself (which is also known as judaism; and from which the filthy flower of christianity foully flourished).

As a matter of fact, the judeo-mystique merely is, from a glimpse at the Qabbala, quite complex, and as a matter of fact, it is, in essence, hardly hebraic at all, but Egyptian, and therefore Atlantean: Arian/ Egyptians (and Arian/ Indo-Europeans alike) descending from Arian/ Atlanteans. The Jew, unlike Arians who did understand those and who were in time to reach ever higher levels of consciousness, utterly failed to understand all its implications and its applications and therefore developed its current misconception of god.

As can clearly be seen, the Hebraic hexagram is an illogical union of opposites; Animus and of Anima; Manifesta and Occulta; opposites which coincidence is as clearly as hopelessly hermaphrodite.

As in the Peterpyramid, there is naturally no balance factor; the hexagram symbolizing the sun as the centre of six planets – an interpreting which was appropriately acceptable only ages ago.

Therefor knowing there are actually not six but nine, the Peter-pyramid and Hebraic archaism alike, are revealed as repealed as devolving rather than evolving.
